In the eastern of the Circassian homeland - the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, a mass equestrian campaign in Circassian national dress took place with the participation of 525 riders from the regions of the North Caucasus, the press service of the Baksan administration reported. The action was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The cavalry started in the vicinity of the village of Dygulybgei, reached the memorial "910 Height" and further to the Mahogaps plateau. The length of the route was 25 km. Everyone could take part in the campaign, who fulfilled all the requirements - Wear the national dress and hats.
Riders from Adygea, Karachay-Circassia, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Stavropol Territory and Kabardino-Balkaria took part in the equestrian passage.
At the action, a world record was set - "The most massive cavalry in Circassian national dress". The record to register in the Guinness Book of Records.
