Roman Kupin climbed Elbrus in honor of the 100th anniversary of the statehood of Adygea

Member of the Youth Parliament under the State Council-Khase of the Republic of Adygea, the head of the "Volunteer Company" in Adygea, Roman Kupin, made the ascent to Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria as part of a group. He dedicated the conquest of the peak to the 100th anniversary of the statehood of Adygea. The very ascent to the West-Eastern peak of Mount Elbrus (5642 m) took about 5 hours.

“Climbing Elbrus is a serious sporting event that requires good preparation and compliance with strict mountaineering safety rules. When climbing Elbrus, for safety, adaptation of the body to altitude is very important. Therefore, six days before the scheduled date of the ascent, we made acclimatization exits with the group members and prepared the body for the height. We did it! Thanks to Elbrus for hosting us!” Roman Kupin shared his impressions.
