The volume of bookings for summer vacations at the beginning of the year decreased by 76% compared to the same period last year: these are the results of research by the German company Travel Data + Analytics.
The company's experts point out that mainly residents of Western countries would make reservations for summer vacations as early as January-February, and last year, in those months, the corona virus was still not in a state of epidemic.
With the end of the winter season, everything is even worse: there were two waves of the corona, and tourism lost 92% compared to the winter before the plague.
