The team of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has announced the launch of a "big political campaign" to free him. As reported on the website of Navalny's headquarters on Tuesday, March 23, one of the objectives of the campaign is to hold a large rally in the spring. The exact date will be determined when the number of expected participants reaches at least half a million people,- DW reports.
"A fundamentally different rally. No one has ever done such a thing in the history of Russia. A rally that everyone will know about. A rally that Putin will not be able to disperse," the message says.
