The event was also attended by Chairman of the State Council-Khase of the Republic of Adygea Vladimir Narozhny, Chief Inspector of the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District in the Republic of Adygea Sergey Drokin, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Adygea Bayzet Shumen, Prosecutor of the Republic of Adygea Igor Shevchenko, employees of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Adygea. Addressing the meeting participants, the Head of Adygea noted that last year, due to the pandemic, police officers had to work in difficult, non-standard conditions.
“You remained at the forefront, ensured public order, accurately fulfilled your tasks, helping in the implementation of the most important measures to protect people's health and lives. This, in turn, allowed us to continue to address economic and social issues. I would like to thank you for the well-coordinated work, for the responsible approach to your duties, ” Murat Kumpilov said.
Noting the results of the work of the department, the Head of the republic emphasized that in Adygea there is still a low crime rate - it is almost 1.5 times lower than the national Russian average and the average in the Southern Federal District. In addition, there was a decrease in the number of robberies, frauds, thefts, robberies and crimes committed while intoxicated. The number of solved grave and especially grave crimes increased significantly.
At the same time, Murat Kumpilov outlined the importance of strengthening the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the suppression of cases of involving minors in destructive activities. The Head of the Republic especially focused on the issues of combating drug trafficking.
“It is necessary to raise to a qualitatively new level the work on counteracting illegal drug trafficking. Effective measures are expected from all of us. I ask you to pay more attention to this issue, " Murat Kumpilov said.
The next direction in which active joint work of the interested departments should be carried out is a further reduction in road accidents and the number of victims in them. The head of Adygea noted that the republican leadership, for its part, is carrying out large-scale work on the repair and construction of high-quality roads, the installation of modern complexes with photo and video recording of traffic violations. It is predicted that by 2024 85% of the republic's roads will be in a standard condition.
Separately, the head of the republic dwelled on issues of combating economic crimes and corruption, protecting the legitimate interests of entrepreneurs, as well as suppressing any manifestations of nationalism and extremism.
“As the President of the country Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin emphasizes,“ it is important to continue to act decisively and principally in the interests of citizens; to seek fair punishment for those who violated the law and to be even more active in the prevention of delinquency, especially among adolescents, ”Murat Kumpilov said .
The head of the republic also set the task to strengthen interaction with public organizations and volunteer associations, to promptly respond to messages from citizens.
Reporting on the main results of the department's work in 2020, Acting Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea Muradin Brantov noted that despite the pandemic, the effective interaction of law enforcement agencies with the authorities made it possible to keep the crime situation in the republic under control.
“Last year, 12.4% less crimes were registered on the territory of the republic than in 2019. Including 9% fewer registered grave and especially grave acts. Adygea ranks third in terms of the lowest rate of growth in the number of crimes in the Russian Federation, ” Muradin Brantov said.
Chairman of the Adygea State Council-Khase Vladimir Narozhny, Chairman of the Adygea Supreme Court Baizet Shumen and Adygea Prosecutor Igor Shevchenko spoke on the issues of further interaction with the Adygea Ministry of Internal Affairs bodies.
A number of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Adygea for the achieved indicators in 2020 were encouraged by the thanks of the Head of the Republic of Adygea, the Chairman of the State Council-Khase of the Republic of Adygea, as well as departmental awards. At the end of the event, the Head of Adygea thanked the entire personnel of the internal affairs bodies for the work done.
