The rate of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased by 43 percent since 1880, breaking a new record. Coronavirus measures have limited human effectiveness but have not prevented the increase in the rate of carbon dioxide.

Human activities, excessive use of fuels, and increased production and consumption are still increasing the rate of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Sometimes during the pandemic, reduced the level of carbon dioxide, but it could not prevent an increase in this rate.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA), the rate of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been around 200 to 280 parts per million in the last 400,000 years before industrialization.

Carbon dioxide values, the main greenhouse gases, increased by 43 percent to 415 parts per million in 2020 from about 291 parts per million in 1880.

Human activities are the main factor in increasing the rate of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
