The main parameters of the budget for 2021 are as follows: revenues will amount to about 43.6 billion rubles (585 million dollars) , expenses - about 44.8 billion rubles. Thus, there will be a deficit in the amount of almost 1.1 billion rubles.

The head of the Republic, Kazbek Kokov, commented on the billion-dollar budget deficit  saying that the bulk of it will go to pay off the republic's public debt.
