On December 2, New Zealand authorities announced a climate change emergency. Reported by the Associated Press.

Thus, New Zealand joined 32 countries in officially recognizing the global climate crisis. The government has pledged to reduce carbon emissions to neutral by 2025. It is proposed to do this in part by eliminating the use of coal as fuel and switching to electric vehicles.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern explained that the Cabinet usually declares an emergency regime only in the event of natural disasters. However, according to her, if the problem is not solved now, such disasters are inevitable.

The large number of countries that have declared a state of emergency as well as the dozens of world organizations working on this issue show that there is a real danger to the changes taking place in nature. We bring you one of these organizations named "World Wide Fund For Nature" wwf.panda.org.
