Kokov joined the Presidium of the State Council of the Russia


Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the composition of the State Council of the Russian Federation, follows from the decree published on the official portal of legal information on December 21.

According to the document, the President  of Russia is the chairman of the State Council.

The Presidium includes the head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Kazbek Kokov, the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, the governor of the Volgograd region Andrey Bocharov, the governor of the Sakhalin region Valery Limarenko, the governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya, the governor of the Altai region Viktor Tomenko, the head of the Bashkir Republic Radiy Khabirov and thr governor of the Kurgan Region Vadim Shumkov.

On December 8, Vladimir Putin signed the law on the status, structure and powers of the State Council of the Russian Federation.
