The winners of the first national competition of regional food brands in the Russian Federation were announced on December 8. This competition was part of a variety of competitions called "Flavors of Russia".
The Circassian (Adyghe) cheese produced in Adygea was included in the top three winners in the competition of the best regional brands in the Russian Federation. This is what the Head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov wrote on his Facebook page.
The first three places along with the Circassian cheese included butter produced in the Volga district and honey produced in the republic of Bashkirtustan.
"The opinion of the expert committee and the vote that was in the competition once again confirmed the love of the people of Russia for the Circassian cheese. It is not only a healthy and delicious product, but also part of our culture, history and traditions" - Kumpilov said and thanked all those who took part in the vote.
It should be noted that Circassian cheese has become an official brand of Adygea in the field of food products.
