Adygea became one of the leading entities in reducing crime

The Republic of Adygea took the third place in the Russian Federation in the ranking for the decrease in crime rates in 2020. Such data are published by the official portal of legal statistics of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation. Compared to last year, crime in Adygea decreased by 13.9% or 3.5 thousand crimes.

Chechnya and North Ossetia have become the leaders in reducing crime. In Chechnya, the decrease in crime compared to last year was 18.8% (2.5 thousand crimes), in North Ossetia-Alania - minus 17.5% (7 thousand crimes).

The leaders in the growth of crime were Sevastopol (an increase of 44.3% or 5.1 thousand crimes), St. Petersburg (plus 24.9% or 53.3 thousand) and the Leningrad region (plus 13.1% or 23.4 thousand crimes).
