Prosecution witnesses again did not attend the trial of Martin Kochesoko

On November 27, the sixth hearing was held in the case of Martin Kochesoko, President of the Khabze organization which operating in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. Prosecution witnesses did not attend either this hearing and previous hearings in recent months.

The judge said that if prosecution witnesses do not appear at the next hearing, they will be removed from the list of witnesses.

The next hearing will take place on December 11, 2020 at 10:00 am.

It was further announced that the next hearing will be open, but the number of people who can see the trial will be limited due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Recall that Martin Kochesoko is allegedly guilty of possession of drugs in his car. All Circassian activists and organizations in the Circassian homeland and in the Circassian diaspora do not believe in this version of the police, and also made statements that they would support the Circassian activist.

Kochesoko himself denies these allegations and mentions that last year, when he was returning home, the police arrested him and began to search his car. During the search, one of the policemen allegedly found drugs in the trunk of the car. So Martin was detained for three weeks. Then the court released him under house arrest.
