Askarby Kardanov re-elected as Mufti of Adygea and Krasnodar Territory


On November 19, Askarby Kardanov was re-elected mufti of Adygea and Krasnodar Territory. This became known as a result of the next reporting and election congress of the Centralized Religious Organization of Muslims of the Republic of Adygea and Krasnodar Territory.

The congress was attended by 83 out of 104 delegates. On behalf of the head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, the participants were greeted by Asker Shkhalakhov, chairman of the committee on nationalities, relations with compatriots and the media.

Recall that for the first time Askarby Kardanov was elected to the post of mufti on November 24, 2012, then re-elected in 2016. November 19, 2020 he took office for another four years.
