Turkey prepared to send humanitarian aid to Karachay-Circassia


The Ministry of Health of Turkey requested information on the necessary medical assistance in Karachay-Circassia Republic and attempted to transfer humanitarian aid through the international Red Cross which refused the assistance. 

Representatives of Russian public organizations that sent an appeal to the Turkish president are awaiting resolution of the issue through the diplomatic channels of the foreign ministries of the two countries. 

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, residents of the Malokarachaevsky district complained to Vladimir Putin about the collapse of medicine. Hospitals for patients with coronavirus in Karachay-Circassia are overcrowded with patients, there are not enough medical workers, doctors said. Health workers in the region called on the federal center to organize military hospitals in the republic according to the Dagestan scenario.

Note that, on June 1, Few organizations from Karachay-Circassia sent appeal asking for help to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan and the representative of the World Health Organization in Russia Melita Vujnovich.
