Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny, who has been undergoing treatment at the Berlin clinic "Charite" since August 22, was discharged from the hospital the day before. This was announced in a press release from the clinic, published on Wednesday 23 September.
As noted in the document, Navalny was on treatment for 32 days, of which he spent 24 in the intensive care unit. "Given the patient's previous course and current condition, the attending physicians believe that full recovery is possible. The potential long-term consequences of severe poisoning will only be possible to establish in the future," says a press release from the clinic, which was published "after consultation with the patient and his wife. ".
Alexei Navalny posted on Instagram his photo and the first post after being discharged from the hospital at the Charite clinic, in which he spoke about his immediate plans for rehabilitation. "The plans are still simple: a physiotherapist every day. Perhaps a rehabilitation center. Stand on one leg. Completely regain control of the toes. Keep balance. It's funny, I dreamed of learning how to ride a wakeboard behind a boat on the wave and learned this summer. And now I'm learning stand on one leg," the politician wrote.
