27.07.2020 - Heavy rain and hail took place in a number of settlements in the Maykop region of Republic of Adygea.
The inhabitants of the villages of Khadjukh and Pobeda noted the fallout of large hails. In the village of Abadzekhya, ice groats covered vegetable gardens and roads. Now the area is assessing the damage.
According to preliminary data, hail damaged 330 hectares of apple orchards at Yumiks farm. There were no complaints from local residents about damage to houses.
According to forecasts of meteorologists, the probability of hail will continue today. In addition, until the end of July 28, heavy rains and showers are possible in the region, combined with a thunderstorm and a squall wind increase of up to 20 meters per second.
